Account deletion
Delete your Tankroo account
When the app launches, the quickest way will be in the app. You can use this form at any time.
Have Tankroo Plus? Deleting your account doesn't cancel it. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there first, or you'll keep being charged.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and login
- Your garage and cars
- Your fill-up diary
- Favourite servos and their alerts
- Smarter alerts (Tankroo Plus) and home-screen widget access
- Notification and privacy settings
If you signed in with Apple, we ask Apple to disconnect Tankroo from your Apple ID. If you signed in with Google, you can remove Tankroo from your Google Account's third-party connections.
What we keep, and for how long
- A record of your deletion request and how we handled it: 7 years.
- Security and audit log entries about your account: 7 years.
- A record of the privacy choices you made, such as marketing emails, with the Privacy Policy version you signed up under: 7 years.
- Records of Tankroo Plus purchases and refunds: 7 years after the end of the financial year they belong to.
- Server backups: copies made before your deletion roll off within 35 days.
We keep these to meet our legal obligations, handle refunds and disputes, and protect the service.
